Influencer Q&A with Casey Duncan from

One minute on her account and you’re guaranteed to have caught a severe case of #wanderlust. Casey Duncan from travel and lifestyle account shares her favourite places to travel and has us painfully jealous about an upcoming trip!

Tell us a bit about your background and how you came about starting

My sister and I began photo-documenting our adventures when I bought my first 4WD (my beloved ’97 Jeep Cherokee). The coastal and inland areas around our hometown of Noosa made for some great exploration and we managed to capture some amazing places.

You have travelled to some amazing places! Where’s your favourite so far?

I ADORE Scandinavia. I’ve always been drawn to the people and the landscapes in all the Scandinavian countries and I loved spending time there earlier this year. I also really love Scotland… I’m definitely more of a northern-Europe-gal than a Mediterranean coast-gal. But how can I pick a favourite… ahh I love the world!

What advice would you give to anyone wanting to grow their Instagram following?

Always capture your experiences! Instagram is a window into your vibrant life and it’s such a creative way to document it. Also, find your own groove and post things that YOU genuinely love – the rest happens naturally.

Snapchat or Instagram – do you have a favourite?

I am a serial offender of both… oops.

Where can we find you on your days off?

Exploring Sydney… my new home! I’m always gallivanting about in the city or out in the Blue Mountains.

We love following your journey, what can we expect to see on over the next year?

I need a big dose of culture shock – early next year I will be heading to Nepal with my cousin (aka partner in crime) to trek to Everest Base Camp, and hike through the more rural alpine areas of the region. We’ll also spend some time volunteering in communities that were affected by the 2015 earthquake. Bring it on!
