Selfies are kind of a big deal. Simultaneously loved and loathed by many, what started out as a pop culture trend has grown into a way of life. The word ‘selfie’ has been added to our vocabulary alongside LOL, OMG and YOLO. With a dedicated apparatus created just for selfies, it’s safe to say they’re here to stay (at least for a while)!

We’ve pulled together some of our the celebrities whose Instagram selfie game is oh so strong. Have we included your favourite?

Kim Kardashian

Of course, Kim Kardashian, the queen of selfies, is high on our list as an expert in the field. She’s well-versed in the arts of picking your angles, selecting flattering lighting and perfecting her contoured pout. While we could add the whole Kardashian-Jenner clan to the list, we could only choose one this time. For now Kim reigns supreme (closely followed by Kylie Jenner of course).

Cara + eyebrows make the perfect selfie. This gal sure does know how to rock a silly selfie, eyes rolled back, tongue out, funny face and all. Sure, she’s the model of the moment, but her selfies make her feel more like a BFF than an international covergirl. We like when our celebs let their quirky side run free.

Miley Cyrus

Want to know what the best thing about a Miley selfie is? It’s that her Instagram selfies, for an audience of 27.1 million might we add, are the type of pictures you’d send your friends via snapchat never to see the light of day. Her selfies are untouched, often makeup free and super random, so they’ll probably change your life (or at least make you more confident to be silly on Insty). Hello double chins!

You might not know her name but you may recognise her face (any Pretty Little Liars fans in the house?).  If you still don’t know who we’re talking about, search @shaym on Instagram and loose track of time as you scroll through her feed. This girl sure does know how to selfie, and she’s pretty dang gorgeous too!

With 41.9 million followers hanging on her every post, it’s no wonder Miss Gomez knows how to take a good selfie. Her Instagram feed is riddled with them, and somehow they get you double tapping every time, so take note ladies, this girl has got it all figured out.

From childhood star to celebrity tragic, Lindsay Lohan has seen it all. Now on the other side of her public ordeal, her Instagram give us some idea that she’s happy, healthy and full of confidence once again. All we can say for now is, she definitely knows how to take a good selfie, so you can definitely join her 3.9 million followers and take some tips from her feed.
